Double-Cone-Vacuum Dryer
The double cone vacuum dryer, “DKT” for short, is a machine for drying suspensions and extracting residual moisture from a wide variety of materials. The double cone container is built between two frames. An adjustable drive allows the container to rotate/tumble. The tumbling movement causes the suspension/material inside to circulate continuously and gently.
The material is dried under vacuum and by heating the container walls. The double cone dryer is filled and emptied via openings at the conical ends of the container.
Various sizes available from 150kg material to 1000kg material. (depending on material density)
Expandable and combinable with recovery unit!
Recovery Unit for Solvents and Liquids
The grinding medium extracted by the double cone dryer or the residual moisture from the material (usually alcohol, acetone, hexane or water) can be completely recovered from the condensate in a recovery unit. Integrated heat exchangers allow the liquid vapor to condense. The recovered medium is then collected in the collecting container and cooled.
This liquid can be reused as a grinding or processing medium for the next process.
The recovery unit is fully automated including level monitoring. Up to 5 double cone vacuum dryers can be connected to one recovery unit.

No matter whether for applications in the laboratory or for processing small quantities in production. Our vacuum dryers are also available as small systems for up to 10 kg or up to 25 kg of material (depending on material density).
The laboratory dryers are compact plug & work systems with plug-in connections for quick and easy commissioning. The corresponding vacuum technology and a condenser collecting container are integrated into the system frame. The heating/cooling is realized via the double wall of the container. We optionally offer suitable temperature control devices for our machines.
